Shipping rules for Amager IT Specialist
Effective Date: 2022 01 01
1. Shipping from within Denmark
Please use Postnord primarily, and only use other couriers if that option is completely unavailable. Reason being our long history of GLS mishandling the packages or failing to deliver altogether. Postnord’s insurance and customer service is miles ahead of GLS, which is important when dealing with valuable electronics.
FedEx and UPS on the other hand are very reliable options, for a higher budget.
2. Shipping from within the EU
Similar logic applies as in shipping from within Denmark – please use your local post office (like Deutche Post or Poste Italiane), which then hands over the packages to Postnord upon arrival to Denmark. Avoid low-tier couriers like GLS.
FedEx and UPS on the other hand are very reliable options, for a higher budget.
3. Shipping from outside the EU
Feel free to use any courier or postal service, since the problematic ones only operate within the EU. All of your packages sent from outside the EU will most likely end upt with our local post office (Postnord) or in some cases with Bring/UPS couriers.
4. Shipping costs
Shipping labels can either be bought by the customer, or we can add shipping costs on top of the repair bill. Both options are welcome, feel free to choose the one that is most convenient.
For shipments from outside the EU, please keep in mind that import fees can be added on the package by your country, however there are usually no import fees for a repaired item in most of the countries, so your local customs office should revoke the fees as soon as you provide them with an invoice from us. We will mark it clearly on the package and customs declaration that the item is being returned from a repair with zero import value.
